THE ARTISTS OF "THROUGH THE LENS" ARE:
CANDY LANGAN-SATTENSPIEL is
the founder of "THROUGH THE LENS" and the author of
"I AM MY OWN THOUGHTS" a unique book of VISUAL POETRY, which
combines 25 years of photography with her spiritual poetry.
Candy is
a registered nurse, professional model and president of
C.A.C., a medical skin care company. She also operates along
with her husband,
Dr. Sig Sattenspiel in their Freehold N.J.
Surgical Center.
Candy's work is usually displayed in a creative manner
along with her poetry. In addition to her book, as a seasoned traveler,
Candy has shared her African photo safari as a web slideshow.
JERRY
CASPER
is one of the founding members of "THROUGH THE
LENS" and a graduate of Pratt Institute. He is a professional
artist, art designer, and professor of Commercial Art, Photography
and Oil Painting. Jerry is the recipient of many artistic awards in
various mediums. His subjects include nature scenes and human
interest with a passion for Light Houses. Jerry's Oil Paintings,
Acrylics, as well as his Photography are exhibited with "THROUGH THE
LENS"
ROSEMARY CASPER
is a wife,
mother and grandmother of ten who has gained a great deal of
experience as a photographer’s assistant. Rosemary has
converted all that exposure into her own concept of photography on a
wide variety of subjects. Rosemary's photography is often three
dimensional with her acrylic touch.
GREG PFREMMER
specializes in painting and photographing nature, specifically New Jersey mammals and birds.
He has been photographing and painting
New Jersey
nature subjects for the past 15 years and has had his work
reproduced in magazines, newspapers, city, county and corporate
brochures throughout the country. Greg envisions birds and
mammals as art and his art work depicts them as such. Greg
is also the owner of Falcon Printing, Freehold, N.J. As a founding
member of "THROUGH THE LENS", Greg exhibits his truly
emotional representations of wildlife.
JERRY COHEN M.D.
is a Thoracic
and Cardiovascular surgeon from Ocean/Monmouth counties in N.J.
Recently retired he too is one of the founding members of "THROUGH
THE LENS" and spends much of his time on a 30 acre mountain-top home
in the
Catskill mountains
of N.Y. He now has time to spend at a long-smoldering interest in
photography, particularly nature photography.
SIGMUND L. SATTENSPIEL, M.D.
is
an internationally known Facial Plastic Surgeon who practices
primarily in
New Jersey
and New York. His photography emanated from his focus on faces
and grew to other areas of interest. His attention to detail
is exhibited in both his vocation and avocation.
BOB HALLACKER
is an artist who
uses his eye of creativity to capture his subjects through the lens.
He often uses his own photographs as subjects to create paintings.
Bob’s art work has been displayed at Lincoln Center, NY, as well as
many locations throughout
New Jersey
and is famous for his portrait pastels.
Bob is proud to exhibit both his photography and pastels with
"THROUGH THE LENS".
JOSEPH RUSSELL
is a postal mail
carrier in the Freehold area. Joe’s warm nature and friendly
manner as a “people” person is shown in his photography. His
expertise – what else? – people.
ERNEST ANTHOLIS
is a prize-winning member
of the arts and has been featured in many newspapers, art
galleries and libraries throughout
New Jersey. Ernie's specialties are digital
photography, pastel and oil painting mediums with a
concentration on landscapes, seascapes,
architecture, flowers and animals. |

Marc C.
Fiorilli
is a native of Freehold, NJ. His love of history, nature
and culture has developed his artistic abilities. Marc
is a teacher of photography and has over 8 years of
professional |

photography experience ranging from Evidence Photography,
Special Events (Weddings, Sweet Sixteens etc.), Sporting
Events, College Yearbooks and of course Art Photography. |
THE EXHIBITION INCLUDES

is an interactive lecture based on the poem “THE ARTIST” by Candy
Sattenspiel. This format is designed to stimulate interest and
curiosity in the arts.
